UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) or drones are no longer just a technological experiment. Commercial applications of drone technology can already be found across all segments of our economy and society. Both companies and the public sector are benefiting from this.

One of the challenges in establishing further drone applications is to bring potential providers and users together. Not every potential user is aware of the (technical) possibilities of drone technology and not every provider has access to potential users and/or requires further information about the potential application in order to develop a solution tailored to the target group. 

With this event, the state initiative offers a platform for exchange between drone manufacturers and providers of drone services on the one hand and potential users (companies and the public sector) on the other.

The introductory presentations will focus on the many possible uses of drones in the various sectors of the economy and the legal framework for the use of drones. Following the presentation of selected approaches in regions of Lower Saxony, providers of drones (services) from Lower Saxony will present their innovative solutions.

There will then be an opportunity for an exchange between the providers and potential users on possible further drone applications in companies and the public sector.
