Apply now: Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award 2023

Are you writing a Lower Saxony success story with your company? Are you expanding around the world and have a particularly good strategy?

Then apply now for the 13th Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award, which honors companies for special activities abroad. The prize will be awarded by Lower Saxony's Minister for Economic Affairs, Transport, Building and Digitalization, Olaf Lies, in two categories: "Small and medium-sized enterprises" and "Large enterprises".

How can you submit an application?

Fill out the application form, which you can find here and submit it completed as a PDF to aussenwirtschaft@mw.niedersachsen.de. The deadline for applications is February 8, 2023, after which the prestigious jury, chaired by State Secretary Frank Doods, will select three nominated companies per category and a respective winner.

When will the prize be awarded?

The Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award will be awarded at a ceremony at the Hannover Messe on April 19, 2023, following the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Day. Further information on the event will be available on our website in due course.

Why should you apply?

If you are one of the six nominated companies, a professional corporate film highlighting export activities will be shot at your location. This film will be shown on site at the award ceremony, giving you the opportunity to present yourself to top-class experts from the fields of business, politics and science. In addition, the film will be made available to you afterwards so that you can use it as an image film.

As the Foreign Trade Award will be presented for the 13th time in 2023, it is a very established award that recognizes your export successes through extensive media coverage.
